Designed, developed, and deployed a website that aggregates and displays general information and rich content (reviews, descriptions, prices, photos, etc.) about gyms and other fitness centers in the U.S. and Canada. The website was sold in Jan 2008 to an acquirer that invests in various web properties. By the time the sale was complete, GymPost.com had reached over 100,000 unique visitors and over 200,000 page views per month. GymPost was featured briefly in SmartMoney's Jan 2006 issue and received Web 2.0 Awards Honorable Mentions in 2007 and 2008.
Served as a division officer aboard the USS Alabama, a nuclear ballistic missile submarine homeported near Seattle, WA. Job titles included Communications Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Damage Control Assistant, and Electrical Officer. Following assignment to the USS Alabama, reported to Strategic Systems Programs in Washington, DC as Launcher Branch Assistant Department Head to manage technical fleet issues in the submarine-launched ballistic missile program.
